Genesis 1:14 declares, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years . . .”
In the coming days, the Bible promises even more end-time events; earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, and acts of terrorism. This is the age of God’s grace and I believe God is calling every one of us to accept it and to receive Him as Savior – not only Savior but Lord! Readers . . . there is a clear choice laid out like an X on a treasure map, marking peace and safety or judgment. It is my belief and my prayer that whenever the will of God and the will of man are in conflict: God’s will must and will prevail!
There is a mighty and holy stirring in my spirit concerning the prophetic end time events which are upon us in just days. The next total solar eclipse crossing North America is not scheduled by God until August of 2044. The minutes with the seconds counting down to the end of the age is advancing faster and faster, and I am deeply concerned this may well be America’s final warning. Evil forces are accelerating their agenda, and we see it every day! These doers have placed an open season sign on Christian believers. These are seeking to silence the Church! They are trying to shun and shut us out of the culture and society. They are labeling us even in laws as evil doers? What in the world is going on? Is this America’s last warning? You and I must be prepared!
Do know this is not astrology but the basic science of astronomy. We, as the Church, must be prepared for the days ahead and to feel secure in our place in God’s hand. You may know that with everything the Lord has made there is a plan and a purpose. These plans and purposes should be a blessing to you, and not a judgment! But what could this solar eclipse mean, our first since 2017!
These truly are incredible signs of the times we live in! In the 2017 eclipse there were 7 cities called Salem in the path of the Solar Eclipse. The number “7,” signals divine completion and purpose. The eclipse on Monday April 8, 2024 will have 7 cities in the path named “Nineveh.” All 7 planets, excluding the Earth, will be overhead in the darkened night-like sky during the eclipse. This is also a 7-year cycle of 2 eclipses!
Now Nineveh was the capital of the wicked Assyrian empire. It was the city threatened from God in the book of Jonah! When the leaders of the day (Scribes and Pharisees) asked the Lord Jesus Christ for a sign of His authority, He declared:
“An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the belly of the earth. The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and will condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. And now One greater than Jonah is here.” (Matthew 12:39 – 41)
Are we receiving a new sign of Jonah? Is it also a coincidence that the Eclipse enters the United States in the small village of Jonah, Texas? Jonah lived during the reign of King Jeroboam which were 786 – 746 B.C. History records a total Solar Eclipse of the sun on June 15, 763 B.C., or right in the middle of when Jonah was on the earth! Was this the time when Jonah was calling Nineveh to repentance?
Note: **Many believe a total Solar Eclipse happened in the Middle East on what we now call Good Friday on April 3, 33 A.D. Noon on the day of Jesus Crucifixion. **
Could this be a sign of judgment for America? Not only are we having the complete Solar Eclipse and the other signs of 7, but a comet called the “Devil Comet”, which looks like it has 2 devil horns hence the name, scientifically called 12P/Prons-Brooks will be appearing on April 8, 2024. Jesus also said that there would be “signs in the sun and the moon and the stars; and on earth distress of nations” (Luke 21:25) as the signs He is coming back – it seems this eclipse could be one of the signs.
All this, of course, is not necessarily an exact interpretation of what the prophetic significance is of the April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse combined with the Devil’s Comet, but we must always equip ourselves with Biblical Truths so our Lord Jesus will find us faithful at His coming. This is the most important piece of the April 8, 2024 puzzle! Be blessed in Him!
