Isaiah 62:1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.
Since October 7, 2023, the United States has not passed an Emergency Funding Bill for the state of Israel. This past weekend Iran fired over 300 rockets into Israel. This, in itself, cost Israel $1.1 Billion to defend itself. This does not include the cost of any kind of offensive measures from last night or in the future.
House Speaker Mike Johnson is introducing a bill in the House of Representatives that will provide $14 billion of emergency aid to Israel. It is expected that this bill will be voted on Saturday April 20. This is the right thing to do for the United States and Israel in the current time. ~James 5:16
Prayer Points Leaders and this Israel Aid Bill:
- Pray for all leaders in Washington D.C. and that they are not blinded on this vote. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2
- Pray for the relationship between the U.S. Administration and the Israeli government to be strengthened ~Genesis 12:3
- Pray for the bill to pass quickly and by its entirety by the House of Representatives
- Pray for wisdom and safety for Speaker Johnson
- Pray for the economic recovery for the entire nation ~ Deuteronomy 7:13
Also, remember Passover begins sundown April 22 and ends on sundown April 30. In Exodus, we can read of the first deliverance of the children of Israel, however not the last. Passover reminds and is a memorial as it encourages the Jew that God will do it again. Watch and pray Christian Church!
